St Helena’s newest restaurant & bar: V2 Paradise
As visitors to St Helena pass through Longwood from the island’s airport, they are welcomed with open arms into V2 Paradise, a newly opened coffee shop, restaurant and bar in the heart of the district.
The new establishment is just five minutes away from Longwood House, the last residence of Napoleon Bonaparte. Doors opened in October 2017 to coincide with the commencement of commercial flights to the island, with help from a Capital Investment Grant facilitated by Enterprise St Helena (ESH).
V2 Paradise is the perfect pit stop for visitors and locals alike, open seven days a week for breakfast through to lunch and dinner along with evening entertainment. Those dropping in for a quick coffee are treated to a fresh cup mixed with a choice of flavoured syrup. Or stop by for the popular pizza and steak nights.

Lucille (Lucy) Johnson, owner of V2 Paradise and V2 Taxi’s Tour Agency, has been overwhelmed by the reception to the opening of Longwood’s newest social hub. She said:
“Our opening had a remarkable turnout and we had great support and comments from those who attended on our refurbishment and ideas. V2 Pub Paradise is family run, as we are all like family here, with all St Helenian chefs and bakers.”Over the Christmas break, V2 hosted an array of great events for families and those looking for a good night with a Christmas Ball, family fun days, ‘Breakfast with Santa’, a bake sale, a Christmas bash and multiple live band performances, attracting residents and visitors from all over the island.
We look forward to what 2018 has in store.
