Hello, this inquiry will certainly be an odd one: In 1975, wanting to learn English and being French Canadian, I joined a correspondence club. One of my first penfriend was a young lady by the name of Ivy Yon. She was 15 years old at the time, she loved pop music (Cliff Richards, Jackson Five, the Osmonds) and work hard helping her mother keep house at Yon’s Café. She lived in Wellington House. As I was cleaning up a closet, I came upon a box with her old letters, we must have written for a year or two. That’s what gave me the idea to google Wellington House… To my surprise, Wellington House still exists and is administered by Ivy Yon Robinson! I am certain that she would not remember me but I would love if you could give her this letter and tell her I said Hello all the way from Canada! Thanks, Anne Landry
